Where do my ads show?

Your ads will appear in Google Search results, in the text ads area. When someone in your target market is searching for the products or services you provide, your ad will display at the top of search results pages.

What do the ads look like?

The ads are text based ads that are dynamically generated, using text set in our dashboard (setup by us, editable by you), along with the keyword term, business name and location. We use our automated platform to generate a variety of ads based on these factors. We will take text from your website to use – you can preview and customize this easily in OctoHub anytime.

How are the keywords generated?

We generate extensive keyword lists for each of the products or services a business sells. We focus on intention based keywords, omitting broad or negative keywords that can result in unqualified, costly traffic.

If your business is service based, we use the services found on your website to generate extensive keyword lists.

If you are an ecommerce business, we use your product data to generate keyword lists for each product. We have many integrations that allow you to send us product data quickly and easily – such as WooCommerce, Shopify, Quickbooks, and Xero Accounting. We also accept .csv or .txt files that can be imported into our platform easily.

How do I track performance of the ads?

Reporting is provided within your OctoHub dashboard and Executive Report. Detailed reporting can also be found in Google Analytics under Acquisition -> Google Ads. We auto-tag the ads, allowing you to run custom reports on all ad traffic within Google Analytics.

What returns can I expect from Google Ads?

The expected cost and return a business sees from Google Ads varies based on industry, geographical region – and really is unique for every business. It’s a hard projection to make. The best route is to run your ads for a couple of months, and learn from the results.

We find locally targeted, specific product/service categories (such as ‘martial arts studio’) see a low CPC average around $1, whereas highly-competitive industries (such as ‘Financial Advisor’) see a higher average CPC, up to $6.

Which Ads account are the ads setup under?

Ads are setup under our master Google Partner account. Our proprietary algorithm automates Google Ads, optimizing your return on time and money.
